The hauling and moving of dirt is over (which means the tremors have stopped, thank goodness). We all assumed that there were getting ready to put a building in the field until this morning when this truck showed up and started spraying grass all over the field. Now we cannot figure out what is going on.
I will keep you posted.

Ah, sprayed-on lawn and garden. When they sprayed the bark at my apartment a few weeks ago, I ended up with a fine layer of bark dust all over my dining room. They had warned us about the bark application and entreated us to close our windows, but they got the dates wrong on the warning notes—it happened a week later.
Dipshits.
Thank God they weren’t spraying grass. My wine racks would probably be Kentucky Blue now.
Weirdness. Today on my way in to work I passed by a construction site near my office. The site is still being prepared for the multiple single-family houses it will contain, but I saw they’ve sprayed over all the dirt with some sort of green substance, maybe similar to what you were seeing.
I wonder if it’s intended to prevent dust and dirt from blowing all over creation until they get the construction done?
If I remember on my way home, I’ll stop and take a photo. It looks like something from an alien landscape.
One of my co-workers said that he heard on the news that hydroseeding is mandatory for construction sites now. And Don, you were right, it's to cut down on the dust.
