Vox Question of the Day: What was the worst job you ever had?
After a day like today, I am partially inclined to answer: my current one! ;-) But that's just because it was a long, hard day.
It really was a bad job that I had three years ago. Well it wasn't a bad job necessarily because I really liked the work that I was doing but I HATED my boss. I was working for a hospital and answered to the Medical/Surgical and Critical Care Nursing Directors. I absolutely hated working for the Critical Care Director. She was difficult, unfair, self-absorbed, arrogant or in one word, a bitch. I don't know that I realized how miserable I was at the time but when I think back on it I wonder how in the world I lasted as long as I did.
