Soundtrack Of My Life

I am a huge fan of Soundtracks and I have always wondered what the songs I would put with the different chapters of my life should it ever become a movie. Well, I picked this up from a fellow blogger's site recently. I would like to give credit to said friend, but unfortunately I can't remember where I saw it, sorry. :-(

I followed the directions, I didn't cheat and the following is what I got with commentary from me in italics following some of the entries.

==========

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?
1. Open your music library
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool - first songs only

Opening Credits
Crossroads - Jim Brickman

Waking Up
Kinda Nice, I Like It - The Pretenders

First Day at School
Sase (Sassy) - George Winston
Sassy? Me? Okay, you're right.

Falling in Love
My Eyes Adored You - Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons
Well it wouldn't be the soundtrack of my life without Mizah Georgia.

Fight Song
American Baby - The Dave Matthews Band

Breaking Up
Lullabye for a Stormy Night - Vienna Teng
Very comforting song and fitting for a break-up scene.

Prom
I Grieve - Peter Gabriel
The week prior to Prom held some grieving for me!

Life is Good
Act Two: Take Chance On Me - Jenny Galloway/Nicolas Colicos - Mamma Mia Soundtrack

Mental Breakdown
Master Blaster (Jammin') - Stevie Wonder

Driving
An American Symphony (Mr. Holland's Opus) - The London Metropolitan Orchestra
Fitting unless they have me going in reverse.

Flashback
I Love You - Sarah McLachlan

Getting Back Together
Mambo Italiano - Bette Midler
I have no idea how this fits.

Wedding
Taking You Home - Don Henley
Kinda ironic that I picked this song for wedding #2.

Paying Dues
Manic Depression - Phil Brown
I don't think I have ever listened to this song.

The Night Before The War
Ribbon In The Sky - Stevie Wonder
So maybe my war is a war of love?

Final Battle
Toy Soldiers - Carbon Leaf

Moment of Triumph
Brothers On A Hotel Bed - Death Cab For Cutie

Death Scene
Boccherini Minuet - The Boston Pops

Funeral Song
Everything About It Is A Love Song - Paul Simon
Kinda of creepy when you listen to it with a funeral in mind.

End Credits
Carnival Town - Norah Jones
