Some things never change....

My brother and I were strolling down memory lane tonight. We were remembering Halloween evenings of our childhood. One year many years ago (I think it was probably 1981) my youngest brother Jimmy was a devil, David was a clown and I was a witch. Many years have gone by since then but Jimmy is still a bit of a devil, Dave is still a clown and me, well I can be a bit witchy at times. Who knew that our Halloween costumes of many years ago who hold such keys to our personalities today?

Happy Halloween!

I always loved Halloween as a child. My Mom always made sure that we had adorable costumes(with plenty of room for warm layers underneath) and my Dad always escorted us from house to house to gather our treats. Upon returning home, my brothers and I would organized and catalogue our candy and completely obsess about it for a few days until it was gone.

Now that I am a "grown-up" it's not the same. I love to answer the door and see the little children all decked out in their finest. My career has prevented me from "dressing up" at work, but this year that was not the case. My entire department at work dressed as an 80's rocker hair band. We named ourselves Germ Warfare. We got the "runner-up" prize for best costume and I think we look pretty good!

Gonna give this a try...

Not sure if I am truly a "blogger" per say, but I have decided to give it a try. I used to be very good about sending out "weekly updates" to friends and family, I am hoping that this can take the place of that.

Meet me!
